An ideal Danish setting, stacked with both conventional and contemporary affirmation of existence. Therefore, staying at Scandic Sydhavnen, was definitely one of the most advantageous choice. The hotel provides Free Parking to its guests, very comfortable for people driving down.

Room Review:

I love the entire range of the Scandic hotels across Europe, as they have absolutely wonderful accommodation for everyone. Whether business or leisure, Scandic Sydhavnen is a perfect fit, as far as they have rooms available for your travel dates.

This hotel offers 391 à la mode rooms, with plush bedding, private en suites, a private bathroom, flat-screen TV, hair dryer, heating, ironing facilities and a personal desk. Scandic Sydhavnen’s snug wooden floors in the room, highlight the hallmark elements.

As a matter of fact, the rooms are also very spacious as compared to European standards.

Food Review:

Do not miss the generous ‘Organic’ buffet breakfast spread, organised each morning between 7-10AM. The 24 hour lobby shop, sells munchies, beverages, and toiletries.

Furthermore, Scandic Sydhavnen’s à la carte menu features continental and danish specialities, which can be savoured on the outdoor terrace.

Try the Aberdeen Angus Steak, and ask for a medium rare. Compliment the splendid meal with a drink in the lounge bar, that sports a small library. The service is indeed prompt, genteel and professional.

All round Sydhavnen

This environment friendly hotel is at a good location, say 2 train stops from Copenhagen Central Station.

Of course, The City centre is about half an hour walk away. The Sydhavn Railway Station, is only a five-minute stroll away. Scandic Sydhavnen also has easy access to Nyhavn, Tivoli Gardens and Kobenhavns Radhus.

Overall, The staff was very professional and warm. The front desk operates around the clock, and you can obtain some great tourist information here. This was my first time at Sydhavnen, and I most definitely look forward to another visit.
